[Summary]
Chemical recycling has been used for a long time as a recycling method for plastics, but it is now attracting attention as a key technology to combat “climate change”.

In this session, two speakers will talk about the past, present and future of chemical recycling (CR).

Dr. Hayashi will talk about the history and background of the blast furnace manufacturers who have led the way in the “real business”.

Dr. Kamo will talk about the current status of CR in the context of various plastic recycling methods.

We look forward to a lively discussion from the audience in the panel discussion and after-school talk that will follow.
