MVC Taxonomy Seminar III “Evolving European initiatives and updates on the EU Taxonomy”, September 9, 2021

2022年1月31日

[Abstract]
ESG investments to stimulate economic activity on the climate crisis are now growing at a rapid pace. The third seminar of the series will focus on the latest developments in the EU Taxonomy, which distinguishes between different initiatives based on scientific knowledge in order to determine their eligibility for investment, and will cover “The disclosure requirements under the Taxonomy Regulation Article 8” and “Progress in the debate on the handling of nuclear energy “.

The Article 8, in particular, sets out what information must be disclosed by private companies and is essential when considering how to build a strategy for using the EU taxonomy.

This seminar will be the third presentation by Jun Nishida of Office Nishida, who has been monitoring developments in the EU Taxonomy since last year’s translation of the final report by the Technical Expert Group.

The seminar is full of important information for those who are aiming to become carbon neutral by 2050 and for those who are focusing on ESG investments to achieve the SDGs. We hope that many of you will be able to attend the seminar and use it to build your business strategy.
