7th Members’ Meeting “How are our companies committed to the circular economy?“ (13/3/2019)

The Circular Economy kick-started in Europe has become an important area of concern also for Japan to deal with. In particular, Japanese enterprises engaged in global business in European market are urged to reconsider their attitudes toward eco-design requirements and recycling.

It is, therefore, expected to make this opportunity a forum for discussion as to how to connect the trend of activation in circular economy in Japan to the business activities among participants of this meeting through learning how they have responded based on the viewpoint of resource circulation, the novel approaches in shifting focus from selling products to providing services, and the provision of logistics and platforms.
